Mangeshkar Bungalows. 

The site was composed of basalt rocks by the shore. The site played, it was brought to life as the water hit the rocks. The rocks- they matured with time, textures changed, surfaces grew deeper, crevices formed. The shelter happens by scaling up the same behaviour and play on a human scale, textures become modulations, surfaces become walls, crevices become spaces and humans inhabit those spaces. The shelter becomes the site- to not be an alien object but become one with the site. The water flows through the shelter but the living spaces remain intact. The water does not force itself onto the inhabitant and the inhabitant does not force themself on the water. The site, the shelter and humans co-exist.
